2024: Round Three: Ventia Rally of Dargaville Tunatahi

The rally has been rescheduled to 27 July 2024. The route has been redesigned and stretched to 135kms of SS over 4 stages repeated.

For those wanting to, there will be an opportunity to give the cars a run on Friday afternoon and take sponsors for a ride at a local venue close to Dargaville.

Saturday morning’s Ceremonial Start will include driver poster signings, a kapahaka, karakia and a welcome from Mayor Craig Jepson before the cars file away to SS1 & 2 North of Dargaville. A quick service and a repeat loop to bring the cars back to Dargaville for lunch and Service in the Parenga St. Carpark.

The organisers have arranged a band, bouncy castle, hot rod show, circus acrobats, food trailer, coffee cart and ice cream van to create an exciting community-friendly occasion to add to the atmosphere while the cars are being serviced.

The Clubmans Rally will join the main field after lunch for the afternoons x2 20km stages using parts of former WRC and Rally NZ roads, with a remote service and refuel followed by a repeat loop and back to Dargaville for the ceremonial finish, including bubbles and a skid pan for the winners to perform victory doughnuts!!

Rally HQ and prizegiving is at the Northern Wairoa Boating Club overlooking the river with the after-rally party at the Northern Wairoa Hotel.

Feedback from Iwi, Council, the Residents and the Community is very positive, welcoming and supportive. They can’t wait for the Rally to hit town and for everyone to have a fun time. A minimum of 45 entries will be required for the Event to break even financially so tell your buddies to set their sights on 27 July for an exciting and cost-effective day.
