Class H (Subaru H6)

The Spirit of this class is to promote inexpensive 4WD Rallying and to Gain experience in 4WD Driving.

ChassisAll Models GC8 to 1999 body shape. Must retain original parts, all steel, (except alloy bonnet), all original glass, and No fiberglass or lightweight materials.
SuspensionNo Cannister shock absorbers, unless manufactured pre-1999. Rear Suspension arms can be adjustable. Front cross members and steering racks from a BP-type Legacy are permitted.       
BrakesGenuine GC8 Calipers and discs are free, with No Pedal box (an exemption may be applied for). No Brembo’s.
EngineThe engine is to be a standard H6 3000cc engine. Exhaust, Air Intake and Cooling System are all free
FuelCompetitors must only use commercially available petrol purchased from a New Zealand Petroleum Retailer.
ComputerThe computer is to be a “Link” brand and supplied with a generic program. Should you wish to use a different tune, your tune must be supplied free of charge to other competitors when requested.
TransmissionFive or Six speed standard Subaru H pattern gearbox only. No Sequential and no dogboxes.
DifferentialStandard Centre Diff, Controller is free.
InteriorFree but must retain the original dash pad.
Saftey GearFree but must comply with MSNZ or AASA requirements.

Any modification not listed here, must remain standard equipment. If your vehicle does not comply with this document, you will be penalised.  

A revised modifications list may be issued before the start of each Rally Season.
