Welcome to the Articles governing the North Island Rally Series. These Articles are based on the Mainland Rally Championship Articles, and the NIRS extends their gratitude to the Mainland Rally Championship for allowing the adoption of these Articles to ensure continuity between islands.

The NIRS Committee has expanded the classes, primarily to separate the AP4, R5 & WRC2 vehicles from the older vehicles so as to create “Races within the Race” of similar vehicles
